New Business Development Manager (80 – 100%)

To support its growth and diversification, Montena Technology SA is looking for a: 

New Business Development Manager (80 – 100%) 

Main Mission: 

Drive the company's growth by identifying and exploring business opportunities and developing activities in the new industrial applications sector 

Specific Responsibilities: 

Business Development 

  • Identify market segments, their commercial potential, key players, target customers and access channels
  • Develop and implement business strategies to expand the company’s offering
  • Position and promote Montena Technology SA in these new market segments
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with clients and key partners
  • Negotiate and finalize commercial contracts

New portfolio Product Management

  • Coordinate with the technical department the new product implementation (functionality, costs and delivery time)
  • Coordinate campaigns and support material with the marketing team
  • Coordinate the sales team and application engineers training
  • Monitor and optimize the product-line profitability

Desired Profile: 

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical, Agri-food 
    with experience in a technical sector, or 
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Process with 
    experience in the field of biotechnology
  • Ideally, 5 to 10 years of professional experience, including 2 to 5 in a similar role
  • Proficiency in English (C1) and French (B2), German is highly desired
  • Availability for approximately 30% of international travels
