Electromagnetic compatibility

Since 1978 Montena has been a key player in the field of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), first as consulting company, then as accredited test lab and, since 2000, as manufacturer of test equipment. We draw on our in-depth expertise to develop EMC test equipment and solutions, that are easy to deploy and use.

Today, Montena is recognized as the world's leading supplier of test systems for the assessment of critical infrastructure and equipment against high-power electromagnetic (HPEM) threats, in particular nuclear electromagnetic pulse (NEMP). Our radiated and conducted susceptibility test systems are used by private and governmental laboratories in every continent.

Thank to our long-standing international experience, we are able to deliver and install complex systems in any part of the world. We can also rely on our extensive network of representatives to provide an efficient and responsive support service.

We have also developed the measurement tools needed to monitor the HPEM tests. These include real-time derivative field sensors, shielded fiber optic links, high voltage attenuators and more. This measurement equipment is available in the MEASUREMENTS section.
