ESD GENERATORS AND SYSTEMS

Electrostatic charges and their sudden discharges are generated by triboelectric effects or static precipitation effects (P-static). Sensitive electronic equipment must be protected against electrostatic discharges and tested accordingly. Our 300kV ESD and P-static test setup has been developed for immunity tests on aircrafts, helicopter or airborne equipment. We also propose an ESD test setup for spacecraft equipment according to the latest requirements of the ESA ECSS‐E‐ST‐20‐07C standard.
