MIL STD 464 / MIL STD 188-125

HORIZONTALLY POLARIZED DIPOLE (HPD) NEMP TEST SYSTEMS

Montena designs and manufactures Horizontally Polarized Dipole (HPD) systems capable of conducting high-altitude electromagnetic pulse (HEMP) / nuclear electromagnetic pulse (NEMP) survivability demonstration tests on large systems, according to MIL STD 464C, MIL 188-125-2 or IEC 61000-5-25.

The bipolar high voltage pulse generator connected to the dipole antenna generates the horizontally polarized electromagnetic pulse at an intensity of up to 50kV/m in the test volume. Various field sensors are used to verify the electric and magnetic field strengths in the test area.

Montena proposes as well a range of fix and transportable vertically polarized NEMP test systems.
