MOL25T – MOL500T

MHZ BROADBAND OPTICAL LINK (ISOLATED PROBE)

These fibre-optic transmission systems are designed for a high-quality transmission of analogue signals from DC up to 25 MHz, respectively 500 MHz, over optical fibres.

They are perfect tool for precise, real-time measurements when electric isolation is needed, for instance in high voltage environment or for floating voltage potential measurements.

The compact, highly shielded electro-optical conversion module is particularly well suited to be used in hardly accessible locations, when a larger measurement equipment (e.g. oscilloscope) cannot be placed close to the measurement point.

In the point-to-point version, both the optical transmitter and receiver modules are battery-powered. In the point-to-frame version the plug-in receiver modules are inserted in a 1- or 10-slots frame and are powered from the frame. Different models of MOL can be mixed in the same chassis.

Both the MOL25T and the MOL500T have remotely selectable 1:1, 1:10 or 1:100 input attenuation.
